I have been building AI products end-to-end for more than a decade. While the focus was previously on training or fine-tuning language models for specific downstream tasks, the landscape has shifted towards effectively prompting LLMs and building the right tools for AI agents.

With AI model commoditization, building AI agents or products has become easier. Soon we will have an abundance of AI agents, similar to how smartphones increased the number of YouTube channels. This is where quality matters to get traction.

My philosophy for quality has been: Start Simple. Iterate until you reach the desired quality.
